The field for our Club Day event on Saturday 25^th is almost full and has now been posted on dotgolf. Please check your Dotgolf/ NZ Golf bookings to see what time you are teeing off.

The START TEE you see on your bookings may not be accurate due to the 4^th hole currently being out of play. (We are hoping it will have recovered in time for Club Day.) Correct start tees will be marked on your scorecard on the day.

If you have contacted Brad to register a team but haven't received a notification, please email him, along with any other club day queries, at golf@waitematagolf.co.nz. We will be providing live music after the prizegiving upstairs in the clubhouse. We look forward to seeing you.

If you are entered in the men's Strokeplay Champs this weekend but are unable to play for any reason, please email Brad to withdraw ASAP so the start sheet will be accurate.

Red Badge Charity Day 

Just a quick update on the corporate/charity day we hosted last week. Red Badge Security raised just over $20,000 for charity. The day was a huge success. 

AGM Update

Thank you to everyone who attended the AGM on Tuesday night, as well as those who participated through advanced voting. The advanced voting mechanism proved to be efficient, granting absentees the opportunity to contribute.

We are delighted to welcome the new members of the board. Gary Mcalister ( Chairman) , David Allott (Director), Carden Mulholland (Men's Club Captain), and Craig Mutch (Men's Vice Captain). Congratulations to you all.

Special thanks are extended to Stu Nicholls and Graeme Cope for their dedicated service during their tenures. Your contributions have been truly appreciated.

This is my first Club Captains message. Can I first start by thanking those members who took the time to vote and also attend the AGM on Tuesday night, and congratulations to those other members who were newly elected on the night.

I look forward to working with the other elected members and the great team we have at the golf club and please bear with me as I get myself organised and a handover from Gary who has left some big shoes to fill. I am fortunate that I will also be supported by Craig Mutch who is stepping into the Men's Vice Captains role and I look forward to working closely with him going forward.

I know a number of players, having been an active member for a number of years, and regularly playing on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If I don't know you and you see me around then please feel free to introduce yourself.

This weekend is a busy one for the Club with the Stroke Play championship something to a conclusion on Sunday. It will be a busy time at the club with a large number of players in this year's competition which is great to see.

Prizegiving will be in the club house immediately after the conclusion of the competitions so please come and support those players who won and commiserate with those who came close!

This is short and sweet this week but I look forward to getting to know more of you in the months ahead and providing you with updates and information throughout the rest of this year.
