No Show Policy

We have had a few questions on the late tee booking cancellation policy in the last week. Rest assured that we will use common sense on days it is likely that there will be a lot of cancellations. Rainy days or days that carts or trundlers are not allowed will obviously impact some members' ability to play. So while you'll still need to cancel your booking, sending an email in is not necessary.

We have already seen an improvement in the number of no shows, so that's promising.

Please remember to use the tee booking waitlist where possible. This must be done via the Waitemata Golf Club website.

Course Care

Another reminder to please respect the efforts that are being made to keep the course in good condition through the recent wet weather. Areas that have ropes or hoops in place are there for a reason. DO NOT move these to save yourself walking a few extra metres.

Remember, It's your responsibility to rake and smooth any marks left in bunkers after playing your shot. This includes foot prints and divots. Always try to leave the bunker in better condition that you found it. 

Farewell

We'd like to say farewell, and thank-you to our Chef Petr Houkal.

Petr has made many delicious meals and treats for us over the years - his sausage rolls alone are legendary! We will miss him, and wish him all the best on his new adventures. He's off to see his family overseas, and take a break to focus on his health. 

His final day with us will be on Monday 29th July 2024.  Do pop past the Kitchen to say goodbye.
