Time spent at WGC: 10 years 

What’s your favourite hole here and why? The 8th Hole. I don’t know why, but all the time I have a good score on the 8th. It’s my lucky hole. 

What’s your best golfing tip? Keep still. Don’t move your body, just turn the upper section. 

What’s your favourite memory from WGC? Hamper Days. Me and my son play together. One time we got 5th place! We got a hamper.  

Partners Day

We hosted our annual partners day at the club yesterday and would just like to extend our sincere gratitude for your generous support as one of our esteemed sponsors. Your commitment has played a crucial role in the success of our events and the overall growth of our club.

Hamper 2024- Sunday 8th December 

Entries are now open for our annual hamper day. Please email golf@waitematagolf.co.nz to register your pair. This is open to all full playing 18 hole members. Same format as last year. 4 ball best ball stableford.  Payments will be taken from house accounts and the fee is $40 per person. 

Childrens/ Baby Clothing Appeal

One of our members Leanna is organising a clothing drive to collect any unwanted baby and children’s clothing to take over to Vanuatu to children in need, and she would love your contributions.

How You Can Help: If you have unwanted clothing that your children have outgrown, please consider donating them to this worthy cause. You can drop off your items at the office by Monday 18th November. Thank you.
