Member Renewals coming up

A reminder that your Membership Subscription fees will be coming up soon.

Invoices will be sent out mid / early February. The new Membership Year starts on the 1st of March 2025.

Payment options are either a one-off invoice or a monthly direct debit. There is no automatic payment option. You will be invoiced in the same method that you used last time. If you want to change your payment method please email admin@waitematagolf.co.nz and Marlies will update your details and send you any relevant forms (e.g. Direct Debit Authority Forms). Note that if you choose to pay via monthly direct debit then a small admin fee will be added to your invoice (approximately $30.00 per year).

Those who are already enrolled to pay via monthly direct debit will not need to action anything - you will still be invoiced, but the payments will automatically roll over. If your bank details have changed, then you will need to get in touch. 

Fees for the 2025 Membership Year will be as follows:

Full Playing: $1,500.00

Off-Peak: $1,360.00

9-Hole: $910.00

30-35 Full Playing: $1,100.00

25-29 Full Playing: $850.00

19-24 Full Playing: $700.00

Under 19 (Junior): $200.00

Mark Wells

Handicap:   16 

How long have you been at WGC:   Since 2021. 

What got you interested in golf?:   I’ve always played socially from quite a young age, but very rarely part of a club so for me it became more about the friendships I formed when joining. The game is quite challenging and it’s a lot of discipline, but what makes it truly enjoyable is the people you play with.  

What’s your favourite hole here and why?:  The 18th. There’s a lot of reward if you hit a great shot, but it’s equally punishing if you don’t, it keeps things interesting. 

What’s the best golfing tip you’ve been given?:   Save enough energy for the 19th.  

What’s your favorite thing about WGC?:   The sense of community. It’s such a friendly and welcoming place, and I really enjoy the social side of the club. 

Course Update

You'll have noticed that there is some work being done on the course.

We're concreting the paths on the 14th and 15th. This should improve things especially during the winter months. We ask that players please avoid the roped off areas and allow the concrete to dry smoothly.
