Handicap:
7.7
How long have you been at WGC?:
About 24-25 years.
What got you interested in golf?:
I’ve always been interested in trying new things. Growing up in Germany, golf wasn’t very popular at the time, so it wasn’t as easy to play. While studying in America, my friends encouraged me to try and give it a go, and ever since then, I’ve been hooked.
What’s your favourite hole here and why?:
The 10th. Our grandson practices there, and it’s a joy to watch him at that age. Brad does a fantastic job coaching, and I really enjoy that time.
What’s the best golfing tip you’ve been given?:
I think you can’t take golf too seriously. Whenever you have the expectation of playing well it doesn’t happen, at least not for me. I like the surprise of having a good round when I don’t expect it.
Where would you like to play one day, and why?:
I don’t have a specific course in mind, but I like golf courses that surprise me. We recently went on a golf trip to Kingsland, and it turned out to be a very nice golf course. I really enjoy those unexpected surprises.
What’s your favorite thing about WGC?:
The atmosphere and the people.
